Members of SEPPA are eligible for the following benefits:

1. biennial convention open to all members for free pre-registration
2. affiliated print competition fees at membership rates
3. print awards
4. scholarships awarded at biennial convention
5. Trade show without separate registration
6. discount convention and seminar rates in SEPPA states
7. Membership in SEPPA is automatic just by joining your home SEPPA affiliate

The Board of Governors and SEPPA Policy Manual define your home SEPPA affiliate as the geographic state in which you are licensed to provide photographic services.  In special cases, a member may reside in one state and do business in another bordering state.  That member may select either state for his/her home SEPPA affiliate and be included in that state’s affiliate fee.  That member may also join a bordering state in an out-of-state category if available, but not be subject to that state’s affiliate fee.

A licensed professional photographer may join a state affiliate in the SEPPA region without first joining his/her home SEPPA affiliate, but will not be a recognized SEPPA member and eligible for SEPPA benefits as outlined above if not a member of his/her home SEPPA affiliate.
